I have a dream

I have a big dream for people in my country. I hope people can be more creative. Nowadays Chinese people receive the best education as they go to the best universities in the world. However, after university, they usually become workers who receive salaries every month. They seldom be creative. Their focus is on earning money and supporting their family. They don’t usually think what is really beneficial for our country. China should be a powerful country because of the amazing population. I have a dream that people can reduce some focus on their personal life and think about our country. I hope more people can concentrate more on researching, inventing, and creating. China needs creation. The world needs creation. As technology improves at a rapid speed, I do hope more and more people can take part in creating things. Although we can’t deny that there is a huge difference between China today and sixty years ago, I still believe China will be better and better in the future.

The best winter

The past winter break I had the best time because I went home. How exciting it was! My family picked me up in Beijing International Airport, and we flew together back to Changchun. I was not tired at all when I saw my parents although I had just had a 13-hour flight. I kept talking with my parents as soon as I saw them. During the second day back home, I went skiing. Skiing is my favorite sport except cross country. Fortunately, I didn't forget any skills of skiing. When I stood on the peak of the mountain, everything on the ground was so small. It seemed I was the center of the universe. Wind blowing in my face, it was super cool! Actually I never felt tired when skiing. I went skiing twice during the break. For the other days, I visited my grandfather or just stayed at home and chatted with my family. When I was studying in China, I didn’t see the importance of my parents. However, when I got here, I began to miss them. Therefore, this break is a time for me and my family staying together.

This winter holiday is definitely the best one. I had a wonderful time.
